DFB Cup: Deadline revolution in the round of 16! THAT has never happened beforeIMAGE
Just got engaged, harsh rumors about the couple are already doing the rounds. Before the night of departure, Marc Terenzi and Verena Kerth allegedly had an extreme argument in the hotel room. The next morning both showed up with injuries on their faces!
The love happiness of the two seemed perfect, so perfect that Marc Terenzi (44) asked for Verena Kerth’s (41) hand in Australia. The former boy band singer surprised his loved one with a romantic proposal on the beach shortly after she was thrown out of the jungle camp. But before they went back home, a bad rumor overshadowed the happiness of the two: Marc Terenzi and Verena Kerth are said to have had a huge argument in their hotel, which turned violent!
In the show “Punkt 6” RTL reported this Tuesday morning that there was a complaint about noise pollution at the reception at the Versace Hotel between twelve and one o’clock at night – on the floor where Verena and Marc also had their room. On top of that! The next morning, the singer and his fiancée were each spotted with an injury under their eyes – Marc even had a band-aid under his eye. When asked if there was any trouble, Marc replied: “Not at all. Zero. I slipped in the shower.”
So everything is harmless? He also denied the injury to Verena’s face, although it is clearly visible on an RTL recording of her departure. According to Marc, there was nothing and there was no argument. Verena herself has not yet commented on the allegations and did not want to give an interview on site before her departure. Only the two of them know what really happened between Marc and Verena.

Buhrow said he was only interested in whether someone could distinguish between their private beliefs and the obligation to report independently. When he looks at the program that Klamroth moderated on Monday evening on the subject of the climate crisis, he found that he had fully lived up to this professional claim.
The federal government has set itself the goal of providing more support to families with low incomes and freeing children from poor backgrounds. This should be done by the basic child security, one of the largest socio-political projects of the traffic light coalition, Family Minister Lisa Paus (Greens) wants to pay significantly more money to poorer families. Will this money actually reach the children? Will it help to break the vicious circle in which sons and daughters from poorer families end up in poverty themselves?
In these crucial questions, Paus is now receiving support from experts, who delivered an assessment on Tuesday at the invitation of the Bertelsmann Foundation in Berlin. “The cash benefits reach the children, there is no systematic misappropriation of the aid, for example for televisions,” said Holger Stichnoth. The professor conducts research at the Center for European Economic Research (ZEW) and has examined the use of state aid such as child benefit or state education allowance. Five federal states pay this to low-income families. According to Stichnoth, fathers or mothers using extra help for more alcohol or cigarettes is more of a myth than reality, although it does occur in isolated cases.
The plans of Family Minister Paus envisage bundling the previously diverse state aids for families from child benefit to citizen benefit in a basic child security system. There should be a guaranteed amount for everyone and an additional contribution that depends on income. Those with low income should receive more money. The key points recently presented by Paus are controversial. The FDP in particular had objected that basic child security should not be too expensive or discourage parents from working.
Sabine Andresen welcomed Paus’ plans, so far the wishes of children have not been given enough consideration when it comes to state aid. “It is important that children and young people can have a say in their needs,” said the professor of social education and family research at the Goethe University in Frankfurt and vice president of the German Child Protection Association. Telling children what the state should finance for them – is that naive? No, says Andresen. “Children are very capable of assessing what is important.”
According to Andresen, the previous aid, such as citizen income, does not cover everything that would be necessary for the children to have good opportunities, such as internet access. However, this is important for homework or other educational issues. “Even the costs for school supplies have not yet been fully covered,” said Andresen.
However, the two researchers have not yet been able to answer a crucial question: does it help to invest more in infrastructure such as day care centers and after-school care centers, or can direct payments to families have a greater impact? It is a dispute that has occupied politicians and social politicians for a long time and that is likely to revive again in the case of basic child security. After all, said Stichnoth, experience from the USA has shown that more help for poorer children is worthwhile. There, support in the first year of life meant that the children achieved better educational results and later higher incomes – instead of being dependent on state aid again.

It took a while, but this adventure bike proves that you have to start taking Chinese motorcycles seriously. At least the CFMoto 800 MT.
Manufacturers and brands such as Quingqi, Shineray, Sym Sanyang and Zhejiang paved the way for China bikes with small scooters and motorcycles from hardware stores. In the meantime, well-known names such as Zündapp or FB Mondial are celebrating their revival under Chinese leadership. New brands such as Niu and Voge have successfully established themselves. Volume manufacturers such as Brixton from Austria and Benelli from Italy rely on engines “Made in China”, but contribute European design and well-known components from Brembo to Pirelli. The result is usually impressive and quite convincing. This is also the case with CFMoto.
With the CFMoto 800MT, KTM’s Chinese sales and production partner is sending a bike into the upper middle class for the first time. The importer is the Austrian KSR Group (including Royal Enfield, Malaguti, Brixton). The new 800 travel enduro is in every respect in a higher league than the previously introduced 650MT (56 hp). Top workmanship, optically a mix of BMW GS, Ducati Multistrada and Triumph Tiger, technically up to date – the new “Multi Terrain” bike from CFMoto is really impressive.
The engine is a familiar one: The liquid-cooled in-line two-cylinder, along with the transmission and electronic assistance systems, comes from the KTM 790, which is no longer available and is now known as the KTM 890. For use in the China cracker 800MT, the old 790 engine had to give up feathers: the power was capped by four HP to now 91 HP (67 kW) to meet the EU 5 standard. The torque dropped from 89 Nm at 6,600 rpm to a maximum of 77 Nm at 8,000 rpm. Means: less tasty at higher tours.
The CFMoto MT800 therefore lacks the powerful penetrating power of the KTM 790, but the performance is convincing. The MT800 hangs cooperatively on the gas. It pulls through happily, but allows itself a slight weakness in the medium speed range. Nevertheless, she handles overtaking maneuvers confidently. CFMoto specifies the top speed as 195 km/h. For comparison: the data sheet for the replaced KTM 790 Adventure says 200 km/h, and for the KTM 790 Duke even 235 km/h. The 800MT sprints to 100 km/h in around four seconds. All class compliant and very solid. The sound sounds pleasantly dull, but never chubby. The manually adjustable windshield provides reasonable wind protection.
CFMoto gives its 800MT two equipment versions: Sport and Touring. Both have Cruise Control as standard for long distances and luggage racks on the rear and on the side. So it has then largely in the sport. In comparison, the Touring scores with full equipment. Quickshifter, tire pressure control system, steering damper, hand protectors, heated grips including seat heating (both three-stage adjustable), engine protection, center stand, aluminum suitcase set – everything on board at no extra charge, along with spoked wheels. The 800 MT Sport drives up on cast aluminum wheels. Cases are only optional here, but still: The other touring ingredients are not even available for an extra charge for the “bare” 800MT Sport. CFMoto provides both versions with a very easy-to-read, clearly arranged 7-inch TFT display including a USB socket in the cockpit and self-resetting indicators, as well as the Sport and Rain riding modes. The Chinese do without an enduro program; the real purpose of the CFMoto 800MT is touring, not off-road poaching. 160 millimeters of spring travel at the front, 150 mm at the rear, plus 190 mm of ground clearance – the 800MT takes dirt and gravel paths with this design with ease. But you should spare it climbing passages like a GS, it’s not enough for that, despite the good chassis. The upside-down telescopic forks at the front and the rear monoshock are fully adjustable.
The smartphone can be paired without any problems. Music, calls, messages, plus navigation – as with the premium providers, all of this works calmly and intuitively. The entire service makes a very tidy impression. The 800MT is started with a key in the good old tradition. The tank holds 19 liters. CFMoto specifies five liters per 100 kilometers as consumption. In the ambitious test drives, the bottom line was around 5.3 l/100 km. That’s easily enough for 350 kilometers and more without a refueling stop.
The seating position easily allows for such distances. Wide handlebars, upright upper body, relaxed knee angle at almost 1.80 meters tall. The CFMoto 800MT “fits” very well. The seat is pleasingly hard without being uncomfortable. The co-driver sits enthroned behind the driver and looks ahead almost undisturbed. With the Touring, he can lean comfortably against a backrest pad on the top case. 36 liters fit in, plus 28 and 35 liters in the side cases. Makes 99 liters in total. Not the world, but more than enough given the payload of a manageable 182 kg. The bike itself weighs 231 kg ready to ride. Light is different, but the chic CFMoto 800MT does not want to be a lightweight. On the contrary.
Prices start at EUR 9,899 for the 800MT Sport. The Touring costs 2,600 euros more. A worthwhile premium in view of the additional equipment.
Here women know how to help themselves …
Cathy Hummels asked herself the question of all questions for her 35th birthday: What should I wear? And opted for a recycled two-piece suit.
“Sustainability is very important to me, so I thought to myself, I don’t have an outfit for my birthday yet, why should I throw something away, I’ll just make it myself…”, explains Cathy Hummels in her Instagram story.
The result: an adorable design in pink. The problem like this Cathy Hummels: “Unfortunately I only have wrapping paper for the front.”
But that is also quickly solved: The ex-wife of Soccer star Mats Hummels (34) grabs one of the gold-colored heart balloons and the bottom is perfectly covered and the “eco” outfit is complete.
Luckily, Hummels is in Thailand right now the new season “Battle of the Reality Stars” (RTLzwei) to moderate. Because the warm weather there also allows for a birthday look.
By the way, only recently did Cathy show an equally interesting outfit, similarly tight at the top – and quite sporty.
“Count my abs. Have fun. Shooting hoops is better than getting hoops,” she wrote on Instagram as a caption, posting a series of snaps in the Adidas suit. “And adds: PS: Mats gave me the outfit for my divorce. You should always end things on a positive note, right?”
The couple went their separate ways in 2022 after seven years of marriage, but apparently still get along very well …
